Why I Joined Fire/EMS
To help others and make friends. Besides I grew up watching EMERGENCY, before RERUNS, seemed like the right thing to do ;) !
Why I Love Fire/EMS
I enjoy running calls, & going to various schools. But call me deranged, firehouse humor is my favorite, there are some sick jokes that come out of emergency services, funny but sick
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Devloping MANDATORY Fire Officer traning requirements and enforcement of these training standards. This applies to both volunteer and paid, there needs to be parity and equality in training standards regardless if you get a pay check or not.

Cancer is a major issue for fire and ems, personnel, KEEP your gear clean, support

13's still been pretty busy... I ride out of 29 and 1 mostly though since they have medics and 13 still has a career BLS unit for now. Most of my time total riding is over in PW oddly enough because ffx didn't pay for my medic school so I ride with them for internship.

How long ago did 13 have a truck? supposedly we're getting some monstrosity of a rehab vehicle soon
