I am a young firefighter. I love it. I live in Collinsville,ok which was where I started my career as a volunteer and at the local EMS service. I have learned that being a firefighter isnt just a job, its a lifestyle. So that is what I have become, a firefighter 24/7.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I grew up in the firestation. My dad was a Tulsa Firefighter, so I always knew that was gonna be my life too.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
it is ever changing. Never the same shift.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Fighting for our wages and our pension. The next big thing is I have noticed that older firefighters have forgotten why we started doing this job. We do this for others, not ourselves.
