Auto Parts Specialist

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
My father joined the fire department many years ago, and as a kid I would tag along. I guess it grows on you and I became interested in helping people and fighting fires. I've enjoyed it ever since I've joined.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
I get to help people in a time of need
Top Issues Facing Responders:
In Nova Scotia, lack of training standards and money to make it better. That lack of money is also a major set-back for small rural departments who are in desperate need of new apparatus, firefighting equipment and facilities to do their jobs properly.
Robert, welcome to the FF Nation. I am glad you dropped in to join the group. Dont be shy. There is lots to do, read and be involved with. Your participation and involvement is important to us all. Takes a bit to kinda figure it all out but you will be glad you did. Have fun and look around.
