Top Issues Facing Responders:
It used to be safety, now it is come down to Cutbacks, Pay, Benefits and Healthcare. Why do the counties focus on cutting employee packages yet can build new buildings. Can we not defer capital expenditures for 1 year and take care of the human asset? After all the best equipment cannot fight a fire or run a med call without good people.
