About Me:
I began my volunteer service with Large VFD in Jefferson Hills, Allegheny County Pennsylvania as a Junior Firefighter and quickly found love for the service. At the age of 18 I began aggressivly training and eventually worked to gain the respect of my collauges and was titled as Lieutenant, Captain and eventually Deputy Fire Chief. Large VFD merged in 2003, at the time I moved to another department. I continued to volunteer at Blaine Hill VFC where I eventually was asked to carry the title of Captin. I worked as a Captin for 1 year before moving onto Central VFC of Elizabeth Township for numreous personal reasons. I have been with Central now for 3 years and have found my home. The volunteers here are dedicated and love serving the community, most importantly we love to train. I have recently obtained my NPQS Firefighter I and am working on my NPQS Firefighter II certification. As I entered my 3rd year with Central I was voted to the position of Lieutenant and President.
Day Job:
Allegheny County Department of Emergency Services, 911 Dispatcher

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I began as a Junior Firefighter primarily to stay out of trouble and away from Drugs and Violence. Since learning the ropes I have developed a love for helping the public and being there when others need help.
