It started off as an internship my senior year in H.S. I fell in love with it and have been doing it ever since.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
the ability to help difuse critical/stress causing situations, the excitement of never knowing what exactly you're getting yourself into, and just love to help people, it's in my blood I guess.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
competency in the fire service, training, and lack of volunteers.

After reading your profile you should be an ER or ICU nurse. I hope that is what your thinking as well. Anything else will bore you I promise. I worked on a med helicopter 4 years but you have to work a couple of years ICU/ER to go there . Are you going to do the Paramedic thing soon ?
