About Me:
I have have been in the fire service as a volunteer for six years and fought fire in the Navy for four years. I am currently taking a break from the fire service to take care of my family, I am looking at joining Rifle Fire Dept. within the next few months. Firefighting to me is an itch you can't scratch, when it gets in your blood you can't get it out.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
When I was a kid, my Grandfather was the district fire chief for the Silt/New Castle Vol. Fire Dept. Late at night they would get a call and I would always try and find a way to go. When I finally turned 18, I ran down to the fire station and signed up as a volunteer.
