I joined the fire service as a junior firefighter where I met my wife. I owe my volunteer experience on getting my career job as a federal firefighter. I started my career as a firefighter at NAS Whiting Field Fire Dept. and later transferred to NAS Pensacola Fire Dept prior to the merge of all four bases.

Chief 601: Complete (RIP) He walked through fire, he felt it’s heat Yet never once did he waver. A Firefighter; he’s done his best, He showed the hot blaze no favor.
