My Training:

I have completed training in the Tulare County academy , I have also completed the firefighter I academy in dec. 12 2008. And just recently I just past the national registry for E.M.T-B
I have certs in basic pump operations, basic emergency vehicle operations, first responder awareness/operations, confined space rescue awareness, first responder operation decon, ICS-200, S-190, S-130, auto extrication, fire control 4A & 4B, fire control 1, fire control 6, fire control 3, fire control 2. I'm very proud of what I do and I take pride in it as well I have never been good at much but I do know that my place his here in the fire department.

About Me:

I live in Visalia California I am currently working as a volunteer Firefighter for the Tulare County Fire Department. I also work part time at sears on Mooney and Caldwell. Im going to collage to get my dagree in fire tech.
Im living with my girlfriend we have been together for almost a two year.

Day Job:

Sears I work in hardware, fitness, and lawn and garden

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I wanted a career full of new experiences and put my knowledge and physical strength to the test. The fact that I can get out an help people in the community makes this job one of the most rewarding I have ever had. It's no longer a job that pays the bills but a way of life. One that I'm very much enjoying.

Top Issues Facing Responders:

I just hate it when the engine leaves without me. The reason I say this is because gas prices are so hi that most of the time I try and catch a ride with the engineer but they some times beat me before I can get there. I think that there should be more training at least once a week. I really did not know much until I went to the academy for my firefighter I
