Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Initially for the adrenaline rush, after doing the job for many years the adrenaline rush is still there, but the self-satisfaction of a job well done makes it for me, the best job in the world!
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Dealing w/ limited human resources both in the paid/volunteer world. Public funding for necessary equipment as well as to allow us to take on increased responsibilities is harder than ever in the current economic climate.
