Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I joined the fire service because I witnessed accident and had no idea what to do to for the injured person in the car. All I could do was stand there, and talk to him to keep him calm. It was a helpless feeling and I didn't want to be helpless the next time I witnessed an accident.
