- About Me:
- I have always known growing up,that I wanted to be a nurse, so here I am still loving my career after all these years. I started college at UB,before I graduated from high school...(thanks Dad!!!!) and was the youngest nurse to work in the ER at E.C.M.C. in Buff. It was there that I was given the nickname Babycakes by the staff,hence the e-mail name "Babycakes0927"!! I practically grew up in a Firehouse,coming from a family of Firemen such as, my Dad, 2 Uncles,a Grandfather and several cousins, with the oddball Cop here and there...LOL...so helping people is all I have ever know. I am married to a most wonderful man (a Cop...LOL)who keeps me grounded and takes care of me......and we have 4 terrific kids. Our oldest is out on her own, 2 are still in High School and one is an angel in heaven. I love the calming sounds of the beach and camping in the mountains and sitting around the fire at night...living here in Nor Cal, I am fortunate enough to be able to be at the beach in the morning and 2 hours later be in the mountains,enjoying the campfires. God has been good to me

- I like to fix people. I like the challenge of treating critically ill patients, an knowing that my skills,knowledge and compassion made a difference in someone's life. OK....I like the Adrenaline rush, too....LOL
