I hold Chief Training Officer and Fire Officer designations through the Center for Public Safety Excellence and bring a leadership style grounded in real-world experience, discipline, and service.

Top Issues Facing Responders:
Today, one of the most pressing challenges facing firefighters is the growing impact of mental health-related issues. Daily exposure to traumatic incidents, high-stress environments, and long hours contribute to elevated rates of PTSD, depression, anxiety, and even suicide among fire service professionals. Despite their role as community protectors, many firefighters struggle in silence due to stigma, lack of resources, or fear of appearing weak. Addressing mental health head-on—with peer support programs, accessible counseling, and a cultural shift that prioritizes psychological wellness—is essential to protecting those who risk their lives to protect others.
