Why I Joined Fire/EMS

Mainly because of the adrenaline boost that I receive when the tones drop. There is no greater feeling than knowing one way or another, you are gonna help somebody today.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

the sense of pride I have, and the way my kids look up to me for being what I am.

Top Issues Facing Responders:

Lack of volunteers. We have 9 stations in my county, but one station scratched 67% of their calls last year. There are really only 3 stations, including mine, that actually get out.
