I have firefighter 1, firefighter 2, haz-mat awarness, haz-mat operations, mayday firefighter down, IFGO (improvised fire ground operations), and emt-b
About Me:
i am 18 years old, im a pretty open person so feel free to ask me anything. i have been running fire and ems for two years now and in the process of making a career out of it, well anything else you wanna know then just ask
well i took my emt-b, firefighter I, and firefighter II, haz-mat awarness, haz-mat operations, and mayday firefighter down during my senior year in highschool just to have some b.s. classes and had no previous intrest and after starting the classes i really enjoyed it and decided to join the volunteer fire dept. and rescue squad and have been furthering my training since, im am currently going to college for my paramedic and a degree in fire science, so i guess i joined just by chance
Why I Love Fire/EMS
it helps make a name for yourself, people say us volunteers are crazy for doing this for free, but if you love doing it, then thats all that matters
Top Issues Facing Responders:
people who can't drive, if you can't see red lights or hear a siren behind you, then you don't need to be driving, and free lancing, you gotta follow orders on scene b/c if you don't thats how you get yourself or somebody else hurt or killed
Welcome to the family where the language and reasoning importate the border is not in our work is to save lives regardless of color, religion or social position, much less. The important thing in our work does not need language to communicate, or borders to help.
