Why don't they enforce the smoking ban? Do they need someone to complain?? I'm sure I could arrange that!! AND I will have the state fire marshal with me!! Got any other dives you want shut down??

It's a hole in the wall that doesn't enforce the smoking ban...or they didn't last time I was in there but neither do the cops. I know all of the cops. I ought to...I work for the Sheriff's Department. That's not a free get out of jail free card either. hahahaha

I personally don't know the answer. I know that the K-Bobs that was there closed for financial reasons and then another place opened but they are closed too. Denny's is across the street from there but in the same parking lot as the Comfort Inn. I actually think it's a Days Inn now. Not real sure. I really hope the road construction is done by then. If not, the Best Western is not a very good choice. They're doing major intersection changes because of the new Wal-Mart.

At 6:56pm on May 2, 2008, John Farmer said…: Yeah...we did and that was my first choice but sometimes hotels go down hill. Since they are not Best Western anymore, I wasn't sure. Didn't know if they dropped BW or if BW dropped them. That happened to the Comfort Inn here. Wasn't being kept to Comfort Inn standards so CI dropped them.

The rooms at the Comfort Inn open up to an indoor hallway. I think you stayed there the last time conference was here. I remember going over there and drinkin with ya. lol
