About Me:

The fire severce has become the center of my world. My wife runs with New Milford as an engineer/NREMT-B.
I started a fire explorers post about three years ago and both of our daughters have been explorers from the start. My oldest daughter became a PCT with her CNA and is planning to complete her schooling for RN. My youngest daughter is in her last year of high school with plans to become an EMT-B next year.

Day Job:

I am an engineering lab technician with a local hydraulics manufacture.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

After partying hard for 20 years and somehow remaining alive, I decided God was not done with me. I had done far too much taking and it was time to give back.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

At the end of the day I know I have made a difference in someone’s life. Hopefully it was a positive difference.

Top Issues Facing Responders:

Lawsuit happy people, lack of training for volunteers due to lack of time. (sometime that dang “real” JOB gets in the way)
