About Me:

Married 16 years, 2 kids 7 & 5 yrs old try to spend all our extra time at th lake camping or just a day on the boat. When it gets cold we duck hunt.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

After moving to this community I was made aware of a need for volunteers for the Fire Dept. . I had been in the military and still felt a calling to serve and missed the brotherhood of being in the military.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

Helping the people of my community

Top Issues Facing Responders:

the rising cost of responding is always a concern especially for rural fire departments with no tax base to rely on. Training is also a problem with volunteers coordinating around work schedules is almost impossible.
