Just getting started on the blog thing. haven't really figured it out yet. Well I have been a firefighter/ems provider for 13 years. I am third generation. My grandad was chief for years in the same dept my dad has been on for about 40 years. I have been a nurse for 15 years. work in a OBGYN office now. before that worked in a minor trauma walk in clinic. I have two boys, well three if you count my husband. Thanks for the welcome Jenny! I love Florida cause you can ride all year. Now I complain when it's 65 degrees that it's too cold! lol It's so cool to see all the women firefighters here. Wish I could join a comp. but too old, fat, bad back....lol...but I can & will support you guys whenever I can. You were there when I needed you the most & I believe you are our hometown soldiers. We were ground zero for Hurricane Charley and our firefighters were outstanding during the tragedy. Jenny check out www.wildpanheadsaloon.com you will love it. Good bunch of peeps.
