About Me:
I am divorced with two fantastic boys that are entering their teenage years (God help me). I became interested in the fire service at a very young age, more so than your typical kid that changes from fireman to astronaut to President every couple of weeks. The old "Emergency" series and the fact that KFD invited me to their "new" Explorers Post in 1973 didn't help matters any! Anything else, just ask me.
Relationship Status:
Divorced

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
The feeling I get after working hard and helping others, the sense of community service, the excitement, getting my hands dirty. That sense of pride that comes with belonging to such a great fraternity.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
Too many to list
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Manpower shortages, politicians that have no idea what our job consists of, lose of that spirit of community service and sacrifice.

Thanks for the comments! Nice to be in Tennessee. The Memphis people are great, but maybe the opportunity to work in eastern Tennessee will present itself and I will make that jump.
