Why I Joined Fire/EMS: Been a member of search and rescue since I was 13 and I enjoy helping others.

I want to live out in the boonies, but I want to make sure I start work early nuff that I'll beat rush hour, which shouldnt be hard... the PD am shift starts at 0530, dispatch starts at 0630, and FD starts by 0700 at the latest and you need to check out the rig first.... i'm lookin at about an hour/hour and a half commute
