Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I live in a small community where healthcare services are 20 minutes away or for more specialized treatment it is even further. If I can give an individual comfort prior to arriving at the hospital that is what gives me satisfaction. I enjoy helping a person, even it is for a brief moment.

The chance to help a person in their time of need.
