Why I Joined Fire/EMS

honestly.....my ex. he is a firefighter too and we used to hang out alot at the station and i got to know everyone and what it was about. a few months into our relationship he became an assistant advisor of the local explorers. the group needed another member to stay open so i joined just to help them out. then it turned into a competive thing me the only girl against the guys and i hated it even when i started beating them. but then i realized it didnt matter what the guys thought i was loving it wether they wanted me or not i was on the explorers two and a half years before resigning because of the age limit.
