About Me:
I have been in the Rescue part of this since I think I was like 17, and been a firefighter since I was like 22. I enjoy both parts of it but my heart is def. towards the rescue/EMS side. I like to fight fire but would rather run the pump than go in a burnning building.
I'm in school for paramedic now and can't wait to get done. Being a paramedic has always been what I wanted to do.

Hey!
I'm Irene.
I'm a firefighter with Brendletown Fire & Rescue in Morganton NC.
I have been here alittle over 6 months.
I've been in Emergency Services for 15 years. I started out in the local rescue squad and then about 5 years later moved to a Oak Hill Fire & Rescue.
I am currently enrolled in the paramedic class here and have about 6 months or so to go!
I'm a single mom of a great 12 year old boy, who keeps me pretty busy when I'm not in school or working!
I love the outdoors, riding horses, 4 wheelers,fishing etc.
Thats pretty much me...if you want to know anything else ask me......
