About Me:: Been with my volunteer fire department for 6 years. I have been a EMT-B paid part time for 2 years. We work about 170 runs a year on my fire department. Of that 50% medical, 35% working fires, and 15% vechile accidents.

Day Job:: I am the city water superintendent

Why I Joined Fire/EMS: I have always been public service oriented. I love the fact that I can help people, and maby leave a little pice of my heart and life with them.

FF in the National Guard!!!

Hello again back for a nother. Today it is our brothers and sisters that are supporting us not only through firefighting, but serving in our military. So far in our dept we have had one firefighter that served in Iraq. He was over there for what seemed like for ever. Even though it was only 9 months. Thank god he made it back safe and sound.

Annual Chearty Softball Game

On 8/31/08, our fire and police depts. in La Grange, plaied a softball game verses our neighbour town of Cantons fire and police. Wow what a great time!!! I am telling you one way to gain friendship and better working relationship with a nother dept that is the way. Plus we help raise money for the Relay For Life!!! This was the fourth annual game.
