I was working that morning, getting ready to go off shift when we turned on the news and were shocked to see the unfolding drama. We sat in silenced awe as we watched the news show the second tower being hit. Since we are on the west coast it was taking time for this to sink into our minds as the events continued to unfold. I just joined this site, I'm a former firefighter as I am currently a truck driver even though I do local hauling and I am home every night I found working to purchase a house and the maintenance of the house to preclude me from being an active firefighter. My problems were really compounded when while working a local lying detective accused me of the profanity and conduct of another person while dealing with an accident scene I was a witness of. While I have the utmost respect for the honest hardworking police officers and their superiors, the liars should be exposed and removed. The cost to me for the lies of the detective were huge.
