About Me:: I crossed trained in 1983 to a special duty assignment, Brooks AFB was my last Fire Department. 1987-1990 I was a Military Training Instructor at Lackland AFB Basic Training before returning to special duty, retired in 1997

Why I Joined Fire/EMS: I came from a Fire Fighting family in the Columbus Ohio area, brother, uncles etc

Why I Love Fire/EMS: I hated the wait, loved the help. It was a job you can walk with your head held high

Top Issues Facing Responders:: Letting runs become mondain, you never know what you will face. Drivers REMEMBER, if you don't get your vehicle to the scene, you can't help anyone. Don't think the throttle and the siren should be at the same speed.
