Other Past or Current Departments and Organizations: I began my career at the West Terre Haute Vol FD in 1994. We put together a team to merge with a surround department in the township to become a fire protection district, thus resulting in one department, Sugar Creek Fire Department. That department now is a paid on call department about to be full time career beginning 1 September 07.
