About Me:
I have been married for around 19 years and have 12 grandchildren ages 2.5 to 19 years of age. My job is important to me for my satisfaction in life; however it is not the end-all be-all in my life. I dive for artifacts and fossils these last 24-25 years and have a woodworking shop where when the notion strikes me, I will build whatever I have wood for.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Visited at the request of a friend and enjoyed the atmosphere of brotherhood of helping others. Didn't ever think it was something I would ever do but it turned out I was home.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
It is part of all our makeups to help others, some of us more than others.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Issues with buildings not being inspected properly or infrequently at best, exposing the firefighters to unnecessary risks. The possibility of responding to another 9-11 still looms over all our heads and in these economic hard times we can expect more arson for profit.
