I also work with the Bloomington Twp fire department as an EMT, and work within the McLean County Emergency Management Agency and serve as communications director for the Village of Colfax EMA

My Training:

I am an IDPH and NREMT EMT-Basic. I have extensive trainning in the Incident Command system, namely NIMS Trainning, with a specilty in unified command. I will be starting firefighter II certification in the fall, and at that same time I will start my Paramedic certification process.

About Me:

My name is Dylan Ferguson I come from a small farm town in centeral Illinois. Its a quite town where not much happens, but when something bad does happen it effects the entire community. I am very active in fire and ems, but I am also a sports fanatic. Im a big fan of college and high school basketball and football. I work as a varsity referee for football and basketball and I love every minute of it.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

It started as just a way to help in my small hometown, but it has now become a passion and hopefully someday me career

In my opinion one of the biggest issues is being prepared for all the types of incidnets that we have never had to worry about before, but now are a scary reailty.
