About Me:
My name is Cliff and I am the Assistant Fire Chief of a large Class One Fire Department. I have served with the department for 36+ years and came up through the ranks from Private to my present rank. I served as a Training Officer for around thirteen years specializing in Emergency Medical Training of EMT's and Paramedics and trained Firefighters in Underwater SCUBA Recovery and Rescue procedures.I also produced training videos that covered all areas of Firefighter training from basic to advanced Firefighting,HAZMAT,Vehicle Extrication,Confined Space and Rope Rescue. I am married to a beautiful lady named Lenny and we have four children that are adults now and have families of their own.We have nine wonderful grandchildren that are the lights of our life and are blessed with loving family of in- laws that genuinely care for one another. We are also blessed to have our very own "Little Dutch Girl" that we have "adopted" into our family. She lives in the Netherlands near her Parents and is a volunteer Firefighter in her home town. I plan to retire in a few years so that my wife and I can start thinking about traveling around this beautiful country that we live in. Well...That's all I know "About Me". Have a Great Day !!
At the time I need a job and I always liked the idea of helping people in need.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
Having the oppuortunity to positively effect the lives of those in need.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Meeting the challenges of providing our communities with cost effective services given the tight budget constraints that the Fire and EMS Services are facing.
