Cindy, Thanks for sending me a message. My wife is an EMT, and I am just an ole country vol firefighter. My major role was to drive and get you there. I (we) were talking about joining somewhere local, and just really haven't given it anymore thought to be honest with you. I am still a full member at my hometown, and really looking for an associate membership. One thing is that I work for the railroad, so my time home is limited, and that has put a damper on many places that I hav elooked into, due to the fact that I may or may not be able to attend meetings, drills, etc.. Since we do not have a set schedule.
Cindy, welcome to the Nation. I am glad you dropped in to join the group. Dont be shy just jump in anywhere and get your feet wet. There is lots to do, read and be involved with. Your participation and involvement is important to us all. Takes a bit to kinda figure it all out but you will be glad you did. Have fun and look around.
