Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I'm the 4th generation of a firefighting family. It's something I have been around all of my life and I wouldn't change that for second. Those who don't believe there is a brotherhood within the fire service are sadly mistaken. Between the networking with everyone around you and the unknowing circumstances waiting for you when responding to emergencies, it doesn't get much better. Unless of course you have a son to follow in your foot steps. Hopefully mine will.
