About Me:

I started my career in the fire service as a reserve firefighter with Imperial County Fire Department, I completed their academy as well. I then proceeded to Paramedic school at Imperial Valley College. In 1994 I graduated medic school and went to work for Blythe Ambulance. After a short time in Blythe I moved to El Centro were I worked for Gold Cross Ambulance for 3.5 years. After some time and with some luck I landed a full-time firefighter position with the City of Calexico. I currently hold the position of Fire Captain.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I spent a summer doing volunteer work at a local fire station. That is when I fell in love with the job.
