Other Past or Current Departments and Organizations: I worked 5 years with Hazel Crest Fire dept. I started there at 17 as a cadet/went to emt school and then paramedic school. Then I worked for NorthPalos F.P.D. for 8yrs then went full-time with Broadview F.D. for a year and half, then got hired full-time at Bolingbrook Local 3005 were I worked for 10 years

My Training:: I was trained as an ILL. FF3,haz-mat 1, F.A.E. I had 15 years as a medic, then my last 5 yrs as FF/EMT, I was trained in technical rescue was on IL-TF 1 usar team,member of Bolingbrrok tech rescue team

About Me:: Im 43 and I'm on a disability pension because I was injuried on the job had to have L-4,L-5,S-1 fused and can't return back to work. I was injured Jan. 2008 had my fusion done Jan. 2009 after doing all the work comp bullshit before they would beleive that I needed surgery.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS: I joined while I was in high school and fell in love with the job.
