Hey Capt. Nice pix! I noticed they were from my area or at least looked like it. I was also at the Memorial for the Charleston 9 and that will not be forgotten! If you get this way give us a shout and we will ride the parkway there are several of us who ride in my Department. Stay safe

HEY George! I PASSED my 52 class!! WOOOHOOO! Now onto FF1...FLAG, and Auto Ex and HazMat Ops are needed first though. I heard I might be placed in that County wide Rookie school...that's awesome cause I get EVERYTHING, but the only crappy thing is that I have to sit through 52 again...oh well, I think it's worth it. LATER TATER! xo

George, sorry to hear about the loss of Bro Campbell. For the family's sake I hope the DOJ approves it as a LODD. Get that motorcycle tuned up, filled up and come on back up here and hang out

Cap:
No need to apologize.
I can't even fathom losing one firefighter; let alone nine.
The floor is always your's.
You got something to say, it would be my privilege to listen.
Get well, stay well and stay safe.

Yesterday was a good day. He was doing a lot better. They have started to allow him to wake up and he is moving his left arm (no movement on his right side yet) and he even opened one eye when someone was joking with him and told him he was ugly.
This Man was on his death bed Wednesday Night and Thursday the Doctors told his Family they needed to make a decision that he was brain dead but if they wanted to leave him on life support any longer he needed to have a surgery due to swelling in his abdomen but they didnt think he would make it through the surgery. His Family agreed to have the surgery and when they got to go back and see him he was doing better. He was put on a smaller ventilater and the swelling in his entire body was going down. He is no where near being out of the woods but ANY improvement is GREAT NEWS.
With God's Grace and the support of his Family and Family of Firefighters he is haning in there.
SO PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR HIM HE NEEDS US TO HELP HIM FIGHT THIS BATTLE WITH OUR PRAYERS! GOD IS THE ONLY ONE THAT HAS COMPLETE CONTROL OVER THIS SITUATION AND GOD IS THE ONE THAT HAS THE FINAL SAY IN HOW THIS ENDS!
PRAISE GOD FOR ALLOWING THE FAMILY ONE MORE DAY WITH HIM AND MAY HE GRANT THEM MANY MANY MANY MORE!
