Started with West End Fire Rescue in Morganton, moved to Brendletown Fire Rescue both of these where straight volunteer, I moved to Surf City to presue a career in the fire service at the Town of Surf City Fire Dept. I worked there for about a year and a half. I moved back to my home town and went to work as an Engineer for Conover Fire Dept. Once I moved back home I joined Glen Alpine Fire Dept.

FFI & FFII, D/O PUMPS, D/O AERIALS, TR General with VMR Speciality, ICS 100, 200, 300, 400, 700, 800, EMT-B, FUNSAR, Level II Fire Instructor, Fire Life Safety Educator Level I

About Me:

I am a 30 year old who got started in the fire service in 2003. I have really enjoyed my time helping others in there time of need. I have met alot of cool people along the way. I wouldnt be where I am today if I hadnt encountered these people, they have helped my become who I am. I am a newly wed as of April 2009 to my wife Brandy. She is the best, She puts up with my crap and still lets me sleep in the house. Man I am so lucky to have someone like her. My family is a big supporter of what I do as well, although at times it is hard for them to accept and understand why we do what we do, but in the end when property or life has been saved then they fully understand why we give the sacrifices we give. I want to thank everyone who has helped me along the way. I am a first time Daddy as of May 10th. kaleb was 10lbs 13.5oz of pure firefighting hell.....so look out when he gets older....lol

I enjoy helping people...but I am not going to lie...I like running into burning houses and buildings....some people call me crazy for it but others call me a firefighter...
