First Fire as an Officer 21-9-2

I finally got my first real fire as an officcer...It was Saturday March 15th..My buddy Joe and I were sitting in his livingroom watching tv, and the tones went off....A working garage fire next to the garage we had only six months before...We had a great knock down and it felt great finally getting that first fire under my belt and I know I have a lot to learn about being an officer...Peace and God Bless to all...

Last Thursday November 8 started out like any old thursday's did in the past. At the end of the day it would be a day to remember for everyone. I got up around 8:30 am and went to my doctor's appointment. While I was listening to my doctor my pager went off and then it went off again. Sitting at headquarters with one of the machine operators. It is going to be a long festive break. We are already up to fire 26 besides our own prescribed burning programme. Hi Bulldog16, Thanks for the friend invite thats awesome. It was great hearing from you. I use to work in a Pharmacy when i was 16 - 20 in the dispensary. I learnt heaps, and found it was very rewarding. I fight bushfires, or our ZNative State forest Wildfires. We also do prescribed burning as well.
