You do what nobody else in your community can do. You solve problems. You also work side by side the best people in your community.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Increased training/maintenance requirements on Volunteers. Volunteer recruitment and retention. Funding. AND in my little corner of the world, unregulated/competitive private service providers.

Welcome to Firefighter Nation! I think you'll find this place to be an excellent resource for networking as I have myself. And while you're online, if you are interested in visionary and innovative emergency services discussion, come check out my blog at Firehouse Zen, part of the FireEMSBlog Network featured here. It got its start on here and has evolved into a great place for sharing new ideas for the job. Feel free to friend me here, or if you have a question, let me know.

Stay safe,

Mick Mayers
