Other Past or Current Departments and Organizations
I graduated from a class at a vocational school that allowed me to attain my certification and also earn college credits.
My Training:
I completed my Firefighter 1 and Firefighter 2 classes along with other required fields such as hazardous materials and EMS.
About Me:
I'm a very competitive type of person but i do well in teams and I'm definitely an adrenaline junkie! Firefighting was not the class I began to take at first. to be honest... I had no idea it was this amazing. I think that I was lucky and caught wind of this by pure destiny. Now, I couldn't be happier with my choice! This is, without a single doubt, what I want to do my entire life!

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Pure luck! At first, i was in a law enforcement class in the morning. zzzzzzz. :) I decided that it wasnt necessarily for me and i didnt like the way the morning classes ran (very slow and groggy) so I talked to the guidance counselor about other options and she said she had no afternoon spots for me unless i wanted to take Emergency Services instead this year. That's how I got into firefighting. Kind of a plain story if you ask me, but maybe it was one of those "it was meant to be" moments. Since then, I have felt like I'm home!
Why I Love Fire/EMS
Helping people and the adrenaline rush of it all! Keeps me feeling alive!
