About Me:
I have one love...Firefighting...it is my life, I have a passion and love for it that drives me. I am a third generation firefighter. Those who know me know my love for the job. I have never done firefghting for the money or the prestige. I do it cause I love it and it is in my blood and is my life...my second love was...the Marines, I did 17 years as an Aircraft Rescue Firefighter before being Medically discharged...I chose the Marines cause we are the best, the elite, and the most respected...plus, being a firefighter in the Marines is the best of both worlds...
Day Job:
Operations Officer, NYSEMO

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Born in to it...in my blood, grew up in a firehouse. I am a third generation Fire Officer and it is all I ever did and all I want to do.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
Being the one that is called when chaos hits and having the courage to go in to a scene everyone else is running from...and of course, the heat of the inside of a working structure...
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Desire, Honor, Firefighter Safety, and Firefighter Health...
