About Me:
I have been a Firefighter / AEMT with the Town of Alabama Fire Department for 12 years, and a past 1st Assistant Chief. Within this position I oversaw 2 Captains, 1 Lieutenant, and the department's Health and Safety Officer. I served previously as Lieutenant, Captain, EMS Captain, and Assistant Chief (overseeing a sub-station housing 2 engines and a heavy rescue). Outside from the fire service I work full time for the Genesee County Sheriff's Office as a 911 dispatcher, am a dog enthusiast, play guitar, and enjoy hunting, fishing, camping and snowmobiling.
Day Job:

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
When I was growing up, the father of one of my close friends was a member of the Town of Alabama Fire Department. After speaking with him, I decided that I wanted to try it out.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
When you see somebody on what is perhaps their worse day, and you do something to make their day just a little bit better, it just adds to what it feels like to be a firefighter.
