Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I used to live in a neighborhood where something was always going down, which never ceased to amaze me. There was always an alarm, fire, or an injury that the local fire department had to take care of. And I wanted to be part of it. I was always interested anything to do with firefighting, and after constantly telling myself it wasn't possible, I decided I had enough. I had taken care of my family and those around me for so long, and now it was my turn to do what I've always wanted. Become a firefighter.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

It feels good knowing I made an effort to help somebody in need.
