I began my career in the Fire Service in 1999 when i became a Volunteer Firefighter in my home town on Long Island, NY. While Volunteering in my home town, i became a Paid Dispatcher for neighboring Fire Dept. In 2005 I came down to Maryland and joined Company 34 as a volunteer in Prince George's County, Maryland. I spent a year with Co. 34, before being hired as a Professional Firefighter with the Prince George's County Fire Department (PGFD). I have been with the PGFD now for 2 years. I'm currently assigned to an Engine Company located on the South Side of the county. Our First Due Box area sits on the southern border of South East, Washington D.C. and consists of Garden Style Apartments, Single/Multi Family Homes, Shopping Centers, High Rise Offices and Apartments, and The Capital Beltway.

I have always been taught to give back to your community. I'm a 2nd Generation Firefighter, and come from a long line of public servant.

Like the pictures. Especially the shell of 1313 Southern Avenue. Ran it many times. Where was the garden apartment in 29's area? Looked like the facade of the St. Moritz Drive buildings (that was 21's first due) or is it 23rd Parkway? Probably wrong on both counts.
