While I was sitting at the table discussing recruitment and retention with the Chiefs of Fort Edward, Hudson Falls, Kingsbury and Argyle NY - they were all dispatched for a working barn fire in Fort Edward's district. I took these photos as I rolled up on the scene with Kingsbury Chief Jim Brunnelle Jr. around 8:20pm 5/8/09.

The barn was hundreds of yards off the road and required a tanker relay and an LDH lay of some 2,000 ft. from the street.

Heavy rains and a lightning storm had just come through the area before the fire was reported. There were no exposures to be concerned with.
