This is a 1978 Seagrave 1500/500 pumper, purchased surplus from the Oak Harbor Fire Department in 2008, for $5000. The unit was built on a low profile aerial chassis, to allow access under the wings of aircraft at NAS Whidbey Island. The rig is in surpisingly good shape for 30 years old, and has been upgraded with a headset system, and halogen emergency lights. Currently operating as second-due, it will become a reserve engine once a new unit is purchased.
