The Assn. Aux-Vol Firefighters wishes to express our condolences on the passing of FDNY EMT LT. Alison Russo-Elling , 61, who was a WTC 9/11 responder and 25 year veteran member who was stabbed in a come-from-behind attack by a stranger when she went to get food by her Astoria stationhouse #49. She is survived by a daughter. 0ur prayers go out to her family, friends, the FDNY EMS and Huntington Community First Aid Squad.
