This was our 1975 Chevy C75 2000 gallon tanker, It had a 454 big block 5 speed manual trans. w/split axle. It was in service till 1999. It's now dump truck for a landscaping co.
It's twin was refirbed in 2000 and is still in service( see other tanker pic).

Actually these tanks were custom built for these trucks, with special baffling and two 6" round flanged dump valves. It was actually the cream of the crop in its day.
