Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I Joined the Fire/EMS service when I got out of high school in 1999. I was first with Moreau rescue and then joined the fire service. Last year in 2008 I got certified to be a search and resuce diver with the Fire company. I have lived in the Village of So. Glens Falls all my life and by joining the fire and EMS service, it gives me a chance to give back to the community. Also my Grandfather was the Chief of the company when he pasted away. So now I want to follow in his foot steps and be a good firefighter like he was.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
I love being a firefighter because I get the chance to save live and help people that are in need. Also I dont know why but when I have fire over my head or crawling up my butt, it give me a BIG rush and makes me want to go in a fire more and more, lol You fire fighters know what I am talking about lol.
