Why I Love Fire/EMS: helping the public, being part of a team, interacting with other departments & EMS

Top Issues Facing Responders:: too many politics within the services, not enough funding for needed equipment, training schools and instructors.

I have a shift where I am not on for 5 days in a row, and it is work's computer that I am using. That and Dept. stuff is very busy right now, elections were just the other day, Christmas dinner, new tanker, and the budget has to be submitted. Lots of stuff for a small dept.

"Roll Calls" this is another group that allows you to tell us about your station and district. "Trainers Corner" is another area that you can read about issues other trainers have or deal with. As well if your not a trainer you can ask questions or state concerns you have. If you have a hard time locating them just go to my site and look at the bottom left hand corner.
